Families - that's what this is all about. The Finnimores originated in England, and now they are spread around the world. This page will deal with a range of different families in the UK, as well as Australia, India and elsewhere. Most of the Finnimore families, i.e. of this spelling, seem to have originated in Devon. I have about three different Devonshire families that I am tracing, and they might well be connected.

At present, only one of these families is presented here; my own 'mob'. My great grandfather was Philip Pickard Finnimore, who is the last entry here - i.e., he is the youngest of the fourth generation. He married Mary Ann Hale and they migrated to Brisbane, Australia, in late 1889.
